About these terms
These terms apply when you download or use StashGrid, a savings app made by Vekto Interactive (“Vekto”, “we”, “us”), company number 00000000, registered in England and Wales. By using StashGrid you agree to them. The Google Play and App Store terms also apply to your download and any purchase.
How we handle personal data is explained in the StashGrid privacy policy.
Not financial advice
StashGrid helps you plan and track your own saving. It doesn't give financial, mortgage, tax, investment or legal advice, and we aren't authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to give it.
- The money tools give estimates based on the figures you enter and on UK tax rates and scheme details for the current tax year. Your own circumstances may change the result.
- Figures can change, for example in a Budget. We update them as soon as we reasonably can, but we can't promise they're always current or complete.
- Government schemes, such as the proposed 2.5% deposit scheme and the replacement for the Lifetime ISA, are shown as we understand them and may change or not go ahead.
- What a bank will lend you is decided by the lender after its own checks. The home buying planner is a guide only.
Before making a big financial decision, such as buying a home, taking out a loan, or investing, please speak to a qualified, independent adviser.
Using StashGrid
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use StashGrid on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You can use StashGrid if you're 18 or over.
Please don't copy, modify, sell or reverse-engineer the app, try to get around StashGrid Pro, or use it in a way that breaks the law. StashGrid, its design, artwork and code belong to Vekto.
Your data and backups
StashGrid stores your grids and figures on your device, not on our servers. That keeps them private, but it also means we can't recover them if your phone is lost, reset or the app is deleted. Use Export backup in Settings to keep a copy somewhere safe.
StashGrid records what you tell it. It doesn't connect to your bank or move money, so it's up to you to make sure your real savings match your grids.
StashGrid Pro
- StashGrid Pro is a one-off purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks extra features in the app for as long as we offer StashGrid.
- It's bought through Google Play or the App Store and linked to that store account. You can restore it on other devices using the same store account. A purchase on Android doesn't unlock Pro on iPhone, or the other way round.
- The price is shown in the store before you buy. We may change prices or run launch offers for new buyers. This doesn't affect anything you've already bought.
- Because Pro is digital content supplied straight away, you agree that it starts immediately. Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their refund policies.
- Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 aren't affected. If Pro doesn't work as described, contact us and we'll put it right, or help you get a refund.
Partner offers
In the UK, StashGrid may show offers from other companies, such as savings and banking apps. Some are referral links and we may earn a reward if you sign up. These products are provided by those companies under their own terms. We don't recommend them as right for you and we're not responsible for them. With savings and investments your capital may be at risk. You can hide partner offers in Settings at any time.
Changes to the app and these terms
We'll keep improving StashGrid, which may mean adding, changing or removing features. We'll try not to remove anything you've paid for, and if a change significantly reduces what Pro offers, we'll tell you in the app.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies.
Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. If faulty digital content we supplied damages your device or other digital content, we'll repair the damage or pay compensation.
We're not responsible for decisions you make using estimates from the money tools, for losses caused by partners' products, or for data lost because no backup was kept. We only supply StashGrid for personal use, so we're not liable to you for business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop using StashGrid at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your use if you seriously break these terms. If we ever stop offering StashGrid, we'll give you reasonable notice where we can, and the app will keep working on your device for as long as your operating system allows.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there. Please contact us first: most problems can be sorted quickly by email.
